Chapter 6 Help from a brave Rose.

Shadow woke up the Ark was fixed all the ships were gone; all his wounds were no longer there, had it all just been a night mare? No he saw his power rings lying besides him, he picked them up and put them on his wrist. He stood up, confused. ' I..I died though…..my heart stopped beating then how is it I'm alive?' Shadow thought and shook his head. " MR. SHADOW!" Cried a voice, he turned around and Saw Cream, Tails, Rouge, Cheese. Cosmo and Omega looking at him, Cream rushed up to him, and wrapped her tiny little arms around him.

"You are okay!" Cream sniffed and broke down into tears.

Shadow blinked and hugged Cream back. "Of course…I'm okay….I'm the ultimate life form…..remember." He said.

Cream looked up at him smiling and backed away. Then for the first time ever she frowned, her face getting a serious look, "We gotta get out of here, Eggman offered us to stay at his under ground base." She told Shadow.

A few weeks later Shadow was lying down on a comfortable bed, wrapped around in his arms were the Mari and Sonic plush dolls Cream made him. He held them close to his chest, they made him feel safe some how, as if Maria and Sonic were sitting by his bed side protecting him from the ones who turned against him. Shadow finally drifted off into sleep.

"NO!" Shadow cried as he sat up his eyes wide, he panted, sweating heavily, shaking, soon he realized it was only a night mare he had. He had seen Sonic and Maria dying simultaneously, although the image of Sonic's death was to blurry to make out clearly he heard Sonic screaming. Panting, he took deep breaths in and out and finally calmed himself, he glanced at the clock it was 3:00 A.M. Shadow sighed he couldn't sleep. With that Shadow chaos controlled to emerald coast leaving the two plush dolls on the bed.

The beach's waves washed over the ankles of an ebony hedgehog, the hedgehog let out a great sigh and opened his red eyes. He looked to the stars, wishing that Sonic and Maria could see this too. Shadow sat down letting the water wash over his feet, his jet shoes were laying right next to him. A few hours later Shadow go up the sun was coming up, he put on hit jet shoes and began to make his way back to Eggman's under ground base………………….

BANG!

"GAH!" Shadow fell right over onto the sand, clutching his right arm, some one had shot him. He sat up and saw the commander a few feet away from him and an army of robots.

"WE MEET AGAIN!" The Commander said, " I've been searching for weeks and I've finally got you where I want you! ROBOT ARMY ATTACK SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG! BUT DON'T KILL HIM! LEAVE THAT TO ME!"


Shadow jumped up and began to run away but the robots surrounded him he had no choice, he must stand and fight. Shadow charged up a chaos spear and hit three of the robots at once they fell over and into the ocean.

Shadow panted, he was pinned with his back to a cliff side, he was to tired to move, he was bruised and battered his power rings lay at his feet, the commander stood in front of him, the commander had a gun pointing at him.

" Well it seems the world will finally get it's revenge." The Commander sneered as he placed the gun barrel on Shadow's chest fur. "Any last words?"

"YEAH I GOT SOME LAST WORDS FOR YOU!" Some one hollered.

Shadow looked up and from the sky came a shadowy figure.

"LEAVE HIM ALONE AND EAT METAL!" Some sort of weapon came crashing down and destroyed the Commander's gun forcing the Commander to stumble back and fall over.  The one who had saved Shadow now stood in front of him. "YOU WANT SHADOW THEN YOU GOTTA GET THROUGH ME, AND MY 'LITTLE' FRIEND!"

"Thanks…."

"No problem, you better get out of here!"

"You'll be okay?"

"I've never been better."

Shadow started to run off.

"Shadow!"

"Yes?"

"I'm so sorry for everything! Please forgive me I know now that you didn't kill Sonic."

"I forgive you, good luck." Shadow sped off leaving, his savoir, to fight the remaining army of robots. Who was Shadow's savoir, the brave pink hedgehog known as…….
